Ms. Miller advises clients on a wide range of transactional and regulatory environmental matters, including due diligence, risk allocation, permitting and remediation. She recently served as environmental counsel for a LEED certified mixed-use brownfield development in Redding. In connection with this matter, Ms. Miller obtained a significant and favorable result for the client by getting a remedial action plan adopted which constituted the first time ever the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) approved the use of a Corrective Action Management Unit for remediation.
