Office Assistant:  Brody Wilkinson PC, a growing Southport law firm, seeks an individual to serve in a multi-faceted role to perform general office and receptionist support.  Prior work experience in an office setting required.  Candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and superior phone etiquette is required.  Proofreading and written and oral communication skills are essential.  The ability to deal sensitively with matters of a highly confidential nature is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Legal Assistant:  We are seeking an assistant for trusts & estates practice. At least 3 to 5 years of related experience required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, proofreading, written and oral communication skills are essential. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and use excellent judgment when problem solving. Additionally, candidate must track and meet deadlines, be highly motivated, anticipate problems and address them proactively, follow through on projects, have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and carry out responsibilities in a professional manner. The ability to deal sensitively with matters of a highly confidential nature is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Paralegal:  Brody Wilkinson PC, a mid-sized Fairfield County law firm seeks paralegal for busy estate administration practice. A minimum of two years of experience is preferred. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of probate process including filing applications, preparing accountings, preparing tax returns, and participating in client meetings. Ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of Fast-Tax/OneSource, excel, and Word is preferred. Flexible hours for right candidate. Salary commensurate with experience.
