Brody Wilkinson PC is pleased to announce that Jake Pylman has joined the firm as an associate. A member of the Business and Real Estate Groups, Mr. Pylman practices primarily in the areas of general corporate matters, business transactions and commercial real estate. He also represents lenders and borrowers in commercial loan originations and workouts.
Mr. Pylman worked earlier in his career at national and regional firms representing commercial clients in bankruptcy/creditors’ rights, business, and employment litigations and therefore brings a litigator’s perspective to the firm’s corporate practice. He previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Charles S. Haight, Jr., United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York and the District of Connecticut. Mr. Pylman was recognized by “Connecticut Super Lawyers” as a “Rising Star” in the area of business litigation in 2018 and 2019. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Mr. Pylman received his J.D., with honors, and Tax Certificate from the University of Connecticut School of School of Law, where he received CALI Awards, in among other courses, Regulation of Financial Institutions, Estate Planning and Advanced Tax Clinic. He received his B.A., with honors and highest distinction, from the University of Rochester.
