Attorney Heather J. Lange joins Brody Wilkinson PC

The law firm of Brody Wilkinson PC is pleased to welcome Heather J. Lange as counsel to the Trusts & Estates Group. Ms. Lange practices in the areas of estate planning and trust and estate administration. She represents high net worth individuals and family groups with the preparation of sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, private foundations and charitable trusts. She also manages and litigates probate proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lange most recently practiced at the Stamford-based law firm of Cummings & Lockwood. She also worked at the law firms of Taylor Ganson & Perrin, LLP and Bingham McCutchen LLP in Boston, and Dechert LLP in Philadelphia.

Peter T. Mott, a senior Trusts & Estates attorney at Brody Wilkinson and chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Estates and Probate Section, cited a growing need to add a layer to its now 11-member Trusts & Estates Group to meet the needs of its substantial client base. “We identified the need for an attorney with Heather’s qualifications and experience a year ago but were committed to finding the right person to complement our Group rather than merely filling the position,” said Mott. He added that, “Heather’s capabilities, training and approach to client service give us the level of confidence we were seeking.”

Ms. Lange is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Bar Association. Ms. Lange received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1988, J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 1997, and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1999.
