EDWARD MARCANTONIO is a principal of Brody Wilkinson and a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Group. Ed practices in the areas of trusts and estates planning and administration. He assists individuals with tax and asset protection planning, estate settlement, and trust administration. Ed is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated attorney.
He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York. Prior to joining the firm, Ed practiced at the former law firm of Hermenze & Marcantonio LLC in Westport, Connecticut, where he was a partner and co-founder. He is a member of the Estates and Probate Sections of the Connecticut, Fairfield County and New York State Bar Associations. Ed is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County. He is past president of the Westport Bar Association and past chair of the Estates and Probate section of the Fairfield County Bar Association.
Ed has been included in The Best Lawyers in America© in the field of trusts and estates since 2019. He has also been recognized as a “Connecticut Super Lawyer” in the areas of estate planning and probate since 2019. Active in his community, Ed is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Westport Democratic Town Committee and chairman of the Board of Assessment Appeals. Ed also served on the Board of Directors of the Westport-Weston United Way and the Connecticut Food Bank. He serves as a corporator of First County Bank.
Ed received his B.A., cum laude, from Columbia College in 1987 and his J.D. from Fordham Law School in 1991, where he was named to the Dean’s List.
