Barbara S. Miller has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Zoological Society which operates Connecticut’s only zoo – Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport. The Connecticut Zoological Society participates in an international Species Survival Plan, committed to the preservation of endangered animals and developing strategies that will protect species and preserve their wild habitats.
