Lisa F. Metz published an article in the Connecticut Bar Association Estates & Probate June 2015 Newsletter entitled “Assets in a Brokerage Account May Be Disclaimed Even if Other Assets in the Account Have Been Withdrawn or Sold.” Lisa wrote the article as a result of receiving a favorable private letter ruling from the Internal Revenue Service.
