For firms outside North America, consideration is given to respected resources such as Chambers Global Guide, Legal 500 EMEA and IFLR 1000. Additionally, once approved for membership, every Primerus firm is audited annually to ensure that the legal services provided to clients are of a consistent high quality, year after year. Each member is committed to the following standards: integrity, excellent work product, reasonable fees, continuing legal education, civility and community service.
Representative matters include:
- Collaborated with Primerus affiliates in New Jersey and Texas to handle eviction and trademark violation cases for Connecticut-based business clients
- Issued and domesticated subpoenas for a Primerus affiliate in connection with out-of-state litigation
- Partnered with a Primerus affiliate in Canada to ensure that a client’s settlement agreement with a Canadian company complied with local law
- Used an out-of-state Primerus affiliate to dismiss a lawsuit brought against a Connecticut-based client in Virginia
- Connected a Connecticut-based client with a Primerus affiliate in the Middle East to provide advice on various real estate and litigation issues
- Referred a client to a Primerus bankruptcy affiliate to handle creditor claims in California
- Worked with a Primerus affiliate in New Mexico to defend a product liability suit
