Teicher spoke at a mini-seminar on “Closely Held Businesses; Counseling a Start-up Venture” at the Connecticut Bar Association’s Business Law Section meeting on April 28, 2009. Topics included choice of entity (corporate governance, tax considerations), forum selection, shareholder agreements, LLC operating agreements, equity incentive plans, intellectual property rights, and ethical issues, including terms of engagement and conflicts of interest.
