Thomas J. Walsh, Jr. was a recent recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow award in recognition of his service to the Fairfield Rotary Club. The Paul Harris Fellowship is named after the founder of Rotary International and represents a gift by the Fairfield Rotary Club in Mr. Walsh’s honor in the amount of $1,000. The money raised from these gifts go into a fund of the Rotary Foundation that supports worldwide projects dedicated to the elimination of hunger, poverty, disease, and illiteracy, and which promote peace and global understanding.
